Caitlyn has always had a special interest in animals from a young age. Growing up, her family knew her as the one who would always take extra time with the animals, no matter the occasion! Her household was full of love with four dogs, a bunny, and a family of cats surrounding her since birth. As she got older, Caitlyn became the go-to person for family pet care. Whenever someone went on vacation, she was their pet sitter and this eventually expanded to caring for pets of family friends!
Initially believing she wanted to pursue a career as a veterinary technician after graduating, Caitlyn realized she needed a break from schooling. She ended up working in retail and then as a decorator at a bakery, all while continuing to provide pet care services for family and friends. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, it prompted her to reevaluate her path and pursue her true passion – working with animals.
Fortunately, Caitlyn received an opportunity to work at For the Love of Dogs Rescue. Under the leadership of Jamie, she gained invaluable insights into the world of animal rescue and learned essential handling tools and techniques. Working alongside experienced colleagues like Beck and Nick further broadened her skills, allowing her to grow through hands-on experiences and their valuable advice.
Caitlyn has since established herself as a trusted pet sitter and dog walker for families in the community. She finds profound happiness in building relationships not only with the dogs but also with their owners. Caitlyn is exerpeinced in handling reactive dogs as well as continuing training programs. Reliable, responsible, communicative, and passionate, Caitlyn is dedicated to providing the best care for her clients' pets!
