Decoding Dog Play

Context is extremely important when learning how to read dog body language. Behavior signals can overlap depending on what the dog is trying to communication. In the video below, you'll see a really cool interaction between two dogs.. one is ready to go playful and the other is a bit more apprehensive.
The first step to understanding DOG is learning the categories of dog body language and then putting your new skills to work! Watch videos, go to the dog park, observe your own dogs.. pick out the individual behavior signals you are seeing and figure out what the dog is trying to communicate. Once you get it, you’ll see dog interactions in a completely different light!
