Jamie is constantly consulting with people who are in need of rehoming their dog. Most of the time, it is a mismatch between the dogs temperament or needs and the home. If I am working with a dog that needs rehoming, they will be listed here.
I am a 5 month old purebred German shorthaired pointer. I am super silly. I love to play fetch and I am extremely food motivated, but then again, who isn’t? I am always eager to learn new tricks. I am house broken, and crate trained. I walk greatly on a leash without pulling, I have perfected Sit, down, stay, come, shake hands, chill and place my chin in your hand when asked. When going outside I get busy super fast when told. I really love chasing the hose! I’m still working on my trust, but I have the potential to make progress and come with lots of training under my belt.
My mother and grandmother love me SO much but unfortunately, our lives aren’t aligning perfectly. My mom thinks that I would thrive in a predictable, calm home, as I am still hesitant with men, where I can spend more hours outside doing what I was bred to do! Work and run! Did I mention I’m great off the leash?! I am friendly with other dogs but I like to take it all in before jumping in to play. I have a great sniffer and LOVE putting it to use! On rainy days I love a good sniff mat or hide and seek with my treats. My mom is looking to find me the perfect home who will love me as much as she does. She thinks that I would do best with a home that doesn’t have any children and can provide me with a lot of outside time in the woods.
