Rescue Connect is a free program that works to support rescue and shelter organizations by basically helping wherever needed! Our group of volunteers each have unique experience in the world of animal rescue as well as holding multiple connections to be able to accomplish more then one might imagine! We can help with a number of odds and ends that often pop up in rescue and shelter daily operations help take some weight off of shelter and rescue staff.

About the Founder

​Although working in the human healthcare field as a rehab therapist for over 20 years, Kelly has always recognized her calling is to work with animals. 

While she enjoys working with all types of dogs, she recently became certified as a canine physical therapist to help dogs recover to their full potential after injury or illness. Kelly wants to continue with her schooling to become a veterinary technician to be able to provide services to local rescues as well as home care services for dogs that may not be able to easily be treated at a facility. 

She has volunteered with local dog rescues for over 10 years and is dedicated to helping make a positive change in the lives of every dog she meets. She has four rescue dogs of her own,  one of which is named Lola who she refers to as her “soulmate”. Lola helped motivate Kelly to work in the canine rehab field and learn more about the rescue world in general. Thank you Lola for teaching Kelly and inspiring her to continue her work with so many deserving animals.
